Inspections Protect Us All

Building codes and construction regulations are standards that have been adopted to protect public health and safety. Building projects are inspected during construction to ensure that each project meets these standards. All portions of construction projects that require a permit will have to pass a formal inspection prior to covering or concealing the work.

Inspections Are Scheduled Ahead of Time

There may be more building projects in progress than building inspectors so to keep the project moving along on schedule, inspections must be scheduled ahead of time and the appropriate work must be completed by the time they visit the construction site. If an inspection fails, is missed, or canceled then progress on the project will be delayed, which underlines the importance of good project management.
